“An Incorrect Man”

Tonight, Steve and I had the pleasure of interviewing Wendy Goldman and Becky Best, two conservative film makers and partners in a company called Crusader Pictures. Notes Wendy’s Facebook Profile:

At Crusader Pictures we believe that freedom and liberty are at the heart of what makes life great, and what makes our country great, and with every film we produce we seek to advance those ideals. Whether the project is satirical or historical, comedy or drama, we choose to make films that make a difference while entertaining.

We chatted with them about their new project, “An Incorrect Man” and the innovative ways in which they are raising money to bring the film to production via Kick Starter.com and social media. We also got their take on what it’s like to be “right-thinking” in lefty Hollywood, the emergence of conservatives “out of the closet” and into Tinseltown’s mainstream, and on how using humor in film can more effectively get a common sense message across to an audience — regardless of their political leanings.

Wendy and Becky were an absolute delight to have on the show, and I am looking forward to posting a more in-depth interview of them here on The Conservative Diva in the near future!

In the meantime, listen to the archive of tonight’s Conservative Republican Forum, which also featured immigration expert Michael Cutler in the first half of the program.
