Today, I want to promote another excellent military charity, run by Diva Ellen’s and my Facebook friend Elyse Buongiorno. Elyse is the Executive Director of Eagles UP, an organization whose mission statement reads:
* To Serve, Support and Assist our active duty military personnel and their families,
* To Serve, Support and Assist our wounded and fallen heroes and their families,
* To Serve, Support and Assist our veterans of all wars and conflicts,
* To actively engage the community with activities that foster better understanding of our active duty military, veterans and wounded and that honor the fallen
Among many other events, Eagles UP hosts a weekly rally at Fort Monmouth in support of our troops all around the world; Home Coming Celebrations; and military family and community outreach.
