After driving for over an hour, I walked into the Macon (GA) Coliseum on Saturday, anxious to hear Herman Cain speak to the GA GOP at the annual convention.
Surprisingly, I found MANY regular, everyday folks in attendance for the same reason as I. Folks that would never normally attend such a convention, because, let’s face it, for so long the GA GOP has been the party of the rich, old white guy. Folks who had decided that there was no better way than to spend a Saturday morning than listening to what Herman Cain had to say!
Let me tell you – Herman Cain rocked that house! I have to laugh at the couple who sat behind me who wore matching scowls as Mr. Cain spoke. They were obvious Newt fans! I have but one thing to say to them, as to any others. “Thems thats goin’, get on the wagon! Them that ain’t, get outta the way!”
