When I hear California the first thing that comes to mind is LIBERAL INSANITY! End of The American Dream describes California’s budget ailments…
“The state government of California is projected to have a budget deficit of at least 19 billion dollars this year, and next year the budget gap is projected to grow to 37 billion dollars. To put that in perspective, the entire budget for the government of California is only about $125 billion per year. Already, California’s credit rating is the lowest of all 50 states, and there are persistent rumors that it is about to go lower.”
One would wonder how a state like California, home to HOLLYWOOD and Disney Land, could be going bankrupt. The answer is plain and simple….LIBERAL INSANITY! I found this site where they show the TOP 20 states that are failing financially, a whopping 17 of these states have Democratic controlled legislatures! I am in no way defending the GOP, they have their share of failures.
Back in February 2010, then California Attorney General, now California’s Governor, Jerry Brown told a group of Young Democrats:
“California is deeply in debt. You could say that it’s bankrupt,”
California has had many chances to make a comeback but it seems failure is their fate. I have seen many Conservative candidates run for office that could have made a difference but most California voters are simply stuck on stupid! Most recent evidence, the race for California District 36. The Tea Party favorite, Craig Huey, a successful businessman, ran against a very liberal Democrat Janice Hahn. Read here to learn about Janice Hahn…..I warn you it’s NOT pretty! After speaking to Shane Hayes of Fleming and Hayes it seems Huey lost by a mere 10 points. Considering the rampant stupid in California I am sure that without the assistance of Angel Fleming and Shane Hayes the margin of loss would have been greater!
One thing I have learned is……EVERY RACE IS LOCAL! You can help no matter where you live by making calls for candidates, sharing information, and donating as little as $5 or $10 to a campaign. Whoever gets elected does affect all of us!

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Keep voting in Democrats California, things might get better right?
Oh really? So California was fine with a balanced budget before Aaanold came along?? Do you have anything to back that up before I do some tedious research into the budgets of years past and who held the majority in the state legislature? I came across this article that could shed some light on the “keep making the same mistakes and expect different results” mentality. Democrat or Republican – who really gives a rats a$$? This is about saving AMERICA! We have to be Americans and fix what is broken! Democrats are not voted in to “fix” anything but because people are voting party lines according to what they are told to believe my Lame Stream Media!
Oh and just FYI I noticed I put Disney “World” before reading your comment. Common error on my part since I live in Florida. Really does not make much difference…….I don’t put my money in the pockets of Liberals no matter where they are!
BDM…you don’t know WTF you are talking about!!! I have lived in California all my life and if you lived here you would know your comment is PURE BS!!!
The democrats have been in control of the state assembly and the state senate for over 40 years with the exception of 1995-1996. In 1995-1996 the assembly was briefly controlled by republicans. The governor really has very limited powers. The problem is the legislature AND voters. Voters don’t realize when those nice little propositions come on the ballot that say “won’t cost taxpayers a dime” that they actually DO cost taxpayer money. And a LOT of it. It ties up funds and requires those funds to be used for that program and they can’t be cut whether or not that program works or not…the money still has to go for that program.
I will NOT defend Arnold for a moment but HE was voted in through the recall election because Governor Gray Davis tripled our vehicle registration fees because he didn’t want to cut union benefits after telling us he wouldn’t just to get elected. This problem didn’t just appear overnight. It has been consistent liberal policies and big government spending that have caused this mess in California. NOT the republicans!!
Well said Sandra…..THANK YOU! I wish people would stop believing what they hear on TV and do some RESEARCH!!
