For being a consistent, courageous voice for freedom — unrelenting in the face of vicious attacks from both the left and the right — we honor former governor of Alaska and Tea Party champion Sarah Palin as a Diva Darling. Undaunted by the slander and vitriol thrown at her on a daily basis by the likes of MSNBC, Daily Kos, HuffPo, David Frum, Charles Krauthammer and way too many others to mention, Palin cheerfully presses on. Her Facebook notes, twitter statuses, media appearances and interviews boldly go where no one in the GOP establishment dares to tread — taking on Obama and his socialist policies armed with facts, conviction and and moxie. And she does it all with a smile on her face.
Does anyone doubt how desperately we could use Palin’s vast experience and knowledge of energy in the executive branch right now?
Whether or not she chooses to run for president (and speaking exclusively as Daria on that point, I would wholeheartedly support her), Palin has proven herself an invaluable asset in the fight for smaller government; sane foreign policy and protection from foreign and domestic enemies; individual liberty; personal responsibility; lower taxes; entrepreneurship and a return to American ingenuity and innovation.
